Having been closed for nearly four months, The Rose & Crown re-opened its doors on the 15th July '09.
Run by Chef/Landlord Martin Brinkworth, with support from Cyrille & Paula Portier (who own The Bridge Inn, West Lavington), the pub is still a pub, but with a great menu to entice people - both locals and those from further afield, to stay for a bite to eat.

This was a friendly village pub with a warm welcoming atmosphere with a small but comfortable restaurant. The bar was clean and comfortable with a selection of well cared for real ales. The restaurant menu had a variety of both traditional and special dishes, all with an air of quality about them. We thought the food itself was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. They had a decent selection of wines to chose from too. A very satisfying dining experience.
