We welcome you to The Hungerford Arms. This delightful 17th century English Country Inn offers you a warm welcome with delicious home cooked food, roaring log fires, beamed ceilings, well-kept cask conditioned ales and a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
The Hungerford Arms is located in the charming, rural village of Farleigh Hungerford – a small hamlet some eight miles south east of the historic city of Bath. On the Somerset, Wiltshire and Avon borders, this quaint inn has stunning views of Farleigh Hungerford Castle and the Westwood Valley.
The Hungerford Arms is conveniently situated for tourist visits to the Roman city of Bath (8 miles); Trowbridge and Bradford on Avon (3 miles); Longleat House and Longleat Safari Park (11 miles) and only a short walk away, the 13th century historic Farleigh Hungerford Castle – the castle can clearly be seen via the panoramic Restaurant windows, or from the outside two-tier Beer Terrace and extensive grounds.
Here at The Hungerford Arms, we take the sourcing of really good produce very seriously and endeavour to use local ingredients; the meat and fish is always fresh, accompanied by delicious seasonal vegetables. The entire menu, including our various Specials, is expertly prepared on the premises by Head Chef, Sandy Lewsey, who is passionate about producing delicious home cooked food at affordable prices.
