Stayed the night here and the room was lovely - 4 poster bed for £60 per night. Nicely decoratated & clean and plenty of tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries etc. You have a room key as well as a key to access the ouside door, the pub below closes at around 11:30 so if you return late you can just let yourself in.
The pub downstairs is lovely, friendly staff, clean and nicely decorated. The menu has lots of choice from snacks, sides, main meals and desserts. Lots of choice for vegetarians too. The only down side was you had to pay around £6 extra for breakfast, although there didn't seem to be an option for breakfast on the pub menu for those not staying at the hotel so we opted for an early lunch instead.
Will be returning soon!
