Family friendly this pub is not despite claiming it is. The childrens play area is on top of a septic tank and we were nearly throwing up from the smell of raw sewage. When we went into the pub they said that the children must stay in the small restaurant bit of the pub and when my two year old son stood on the chair with NO SHOES on they told us not to allow it. My son does not understand restrictions at his age so in the end we had to stay outside with him whilst waiting for the food. the staff were very unfriendly and unhelpfull. The food was lovely but all in all the whole experiance left us disatisfied and we vowed never to return.

An all round value-for-money place. Nice and comfortable with an olde-worlde charm, set in a good location. I like the place.
