I called on the off-chance, having no idea of what to expect. It was a pleasant surprise. We had a very nice meal, were looked after quite well, and I would go there again.

I was extremely delighted when I visited the Crown Inn at Alrewas. I booked a table for my family for lunch on Mothering Sunday and enjoyed a delicious carvery. The food was absolutely delicious. The chef must have some good contacts with the butcher as the meat tasted superb and was cooked to perfection. All the food was well presented and served hot. We were given a choice of puddings and I managed to just about find room for some treacle roly poly and custard! The staff were very friendly and efficient and made us feel very welcome.
I would recommend this lovely village pub and shall definitely be re-visiting in the very near future. Thanks for making my Mother's Day.
