It’s like having a secret that you want to share but are frightened that by telling it to anyone the magic will be lost to yourself! i.e. will never get a table again!! Its taken me 3 years to write this and I’m only doing so now as it’s unfair to keep it to myself any longer, sob! This gem of a pub/restaurant extols everything you could want from a drinking/eating experience! Mine hosts Judith and Bernard truly make everyone welcome as does their staff; I cannot praise the establishment enough and would strongly recommend it, both for their beers and excellent food. The menu is good but their specials board excels! Always make an advanced booking or you will be drinking only. As some company once said – “probably the best pub in the northwest” p.s. – The chips are as real as their beers! Brilliant.
