worst meal ever.
been twice as i thought we would give it another chance.
this is far from a family pub.
the service was appauling overcrowded and overbooked.
portion size terrible for the price you would get a bigger happy meal.
value and service was rubbish. stay away from this pub.

Fantastic meal with great staff and owners paying attention to their customers the lemon posset was to die for .
The fat chips are a meal on there own .
The celery soup and rustic bread fantastic every thing about this meal was great we will be back soon

Quite frankly, we couldnt believe the quality of food for the amount we paid! I recommend the chunky chips with EVERYTHING! You dont get many, but you certainly dont NEED many, they are very chunky and the Geordie burger is lovely! The home made coleslaw should be bottled and sold! The staff were lovely and even the chef made time to make sure we were happy with our food as he was passing through the bar!
